Granada 2014?

This is a trip that was intended for 2012 – it came very high on my wish list when I finally decided to do some serious travelling – excuse me if I babble – but just the idea of the, “Alhambra”, gets me pretty excited, never mind the story of one of the last citadels of Moorish Spain, a model of religious good order which makes a fascinating contrast to the intolerance of the modern world.

However, it didn’t work out  and because of the Big Trip now planning for 2013, it looks like it will be 2014 before I get there. Never mind. I just hope the world doesnt end before I get there (or afterwards, for that matter).

    Hi JHR,
We went to Granada a few years ago, fabulous, we also hired a car and drove to http://www.thenerjacaves.com/ on the south coast and to Seville where there is another palace.
can’t remember any trouble driving in that part of Spain except staying on the correct side of the road on quieter roads

Hi, my man – thanks for the tip. In fact, I am running out of time to get over there for the extended trip, so I am not sure how or when I will do it, but will bear the suggestion in mind. James
